Have you ever tried them? They are expensive but nice! I bought myself three for my one year anniversary of quitting smoking. They feel good in the hand. They trim beautifully, especially with porcelain. The only drawback is that they are fragile, you sure don't want to drop them! But if you do you can send them back and Phil Poburka of Bison Studios will fix them for you, for a nominal fee. The trimming part of the tool is made of Tungsten Carbide, the handles are turned from exotic woods that adds to the feel.I just found out that Bison Tools are now available on Etsy so it is now easier than ever to own your very own! And yes, it has now been over two years since I quit smoking. Though it has been difficult lately to remain a non-smoker, I STILL AM!!!

Quitting smoking is a VERY BIG DEAL! Bravo!
I have heard so many good things about Bison Tools, but do not have any... Hmmmmm, what bad habit can I give up so that I can reward myself?... I'll be giving that some consideration!

Give up chocolate or reward myself with chocolate??? That could be a vicious circle, couldn't it??
Chris, congratulations on quitting smoking. In the long run you will be glad you did. Food will taste better and fragrances will be so much better; think how much money you are saving so you can buy more bison tools and of course more chocolates - at least 70% cocoa. Never give up chocolate, it is good for you, and Patricia, and me and everyone else out ther, too.

Hey Chris - Congrats on treating yourself to not one, but 3 Bison Tools! I absolutely LOVE mine. Once you have one you'll never want to go back.
I actually broke mine last year and it was *very* hard to go back to my old trimming tools. When I was finally able to get a replacement, I cried with joy (..really ..I did!) I keep my tool in the box it came in, and out of harm's way when I'm not using it.

Thanks for the info on the tools, i'll have to get a couple to try them out. However i'm not sure if the cost is justified as they are a LOT more than the $6.00 tool i'm using now.
